The system copy
Unicode conversion: During the copy, the system is converted from non-Unicode to Unicode. This happens in the context of a homogeneous or heterogeneous system copy. In connection with Unicode must be differentiated between the system copy of a Unicode system and the Unicode conversion.

Third-party tools sometimes have a different focus than TDMS. The tools each offer a more or less generally understandable user guidance and are thus "out-of-the-box" products that do not require external consulting on implementation or application.

"Shortcut for SAP Systems" provides an automated solution for many of the tasks involved in copying SAP systems by enabling the backup and restore of any table.
This often leads to special challenges due to a lack of resources or capacities.
If the current system runs on Windows Server and SQL Server or Oracle, the target system must now run on Linux and SAP Hana.
