User master record - Used to log on to the SAP system and grants restricted access to SAP system functions and objects via the authorization profiles specified in the role. The user master record contains all information about the corresponding user, including authorizations. Changes only take effect the next time the user logs on to the system. Users already logged on at the time of the change are not affected by the changes.
Certain permissions that are not relevant until a job step is run are checked at the time of scheduling for the specified step user. This checks whether the selected user is authorised to run the specified ABAP programme or external command. For programmes associated with a permission group, the S_PROGRAM object is checked. External commands test for the object S_LOG_COM.

This information is used in the name generation of the external service. In this way, all area start pages and logical links configured in a CRM business role are authorised in the form of external services. Due to the mass of external services that appear in the role menu, it is difficult to keep track of them. Now, to allow only certain external services, you can do the following: First, identify the external service using the permission trace.
You can use the previously created organisational matrix to either mass create new role derivations (role derivation) or mass update role derivations (derived role organisational values update). For both scenarios, there are separate Web-Dynpro applications, in which you must select the corresponding reference roles.
With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.
Users who have already logged on are therefore not initially affected by changes.
For SAP CRM only the objects Organisational Unit (O), Headquarters (S), Central Person (CP) and User (US) play a role.
