SAP Basis is a middleware tool for applications, operating system and database. The SAP Basis consultant should be able to perform the following tasks.
In the initial screen, you can first use the global settings to specify whether changes should be allowed in general. Furthermore, you can define specifically for the software components and namespaces of the Repository objects whether they can be changed at all, or whether changeability should be restricted.
Requirements
The CodeProfiler prevents poor-quality code or programs with security vulnerabilities from entering a productive SAP system landscape in the first place. It is therefore important to use the CodeProfiler throughout the entire lifecycle of a software. Already during programming, the CodeProfiler helps the developer to identify and correct errors and vulnerabilities in the SAP landscape. The CodeProfiler automatically ensures that only "clean" code is transported to the next level (development system -> test system -> quality assurance system -> production system). The CodeProfiler can also be used for regular review cycles.
The Expert Team Lead leads a group of specialists, e.g. a group of SMEs or a specific technical area such as a group of operators. For example, this role can lead and steer a virtual group of experts with the participation of other IT departments on the topic of print management. The role serves as the interface and contact of the SAP basis to other specialist areas such as memory management or operating systems. In cooperation with other IT departments, the Technical Team Lead leads expert groups. These expert groups are usually virtually organised and their existence limited in time. The role of the Technical Lead functions as (partial) project leader for topics and projects of particular importance to the SAP basis. He takes care of all the activities involved in project management and control.

Users' root data must be verified, updated, or maintained.
He is also responsible for transport management and tests software updates to ensure they are compatible with the landscape.
