The basis of every SAP system is the SAP NetWeaver Application Server. Everything depends on this "SAP Basis" to keep SAP systems running. In the area of SAP Basis Operations, we handle all technical tasks for our customers that arise during the installation, operation and maintenance of SAP systems. We install, administer, configure, troubleshoot and optimize your SAP system.
The two main tasks of this function are: Deleting profiles including user assignments if no matching role exists. Deleting assignments between users and roles if either the user or the role does not exist.
SAP Basis Service
The SAP basis as an organisational unit within a growing IT organisation is facing far-reaching changes. The growing number of technologies and the growing need for integration and collaboration with upstream and downstream IT departments means that the SAP basis is constantly growing. Examples of organisational concepts and further information can be found in chapters 7.6 and 9.4 of the Master's thesis.
The core of the three-layer model is the application layer. This consists of one or more application servers and a message server. Companies use the application server to provide services for the operation of applications in SAP. The message server serves as an "intermediary" between the applications and services, for example, by controlling communication between the individual application servers and determining the load on the application servers. Furthermore, the data is prepared for the user in the application view so that the user can call up the data visually in the presentation layer. At the same time, the user data is forwarded to the database.
The "Shortcut for SAP Systems" tool is ideal for doing many tasks in the SAP basis more easily and quickly.
On the one hand, staff clerks (or other personnel officials) should be able to carry out their important work.
A positive aspect of standardisation and automation is the increase in the quality of tasks, since manual errors can be almost excluded.
